Taking place at the Emirates Towers, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and the Museum of the Future, the Summit will bring together 420 speakers, including more than 125 CEOs, global experts, and prominent social media platform representatives from Snapchat, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Meta. This year’s Summit, themed “Content For Good,” will also feature a first-of-its-kind $1 million One Billion Award, which is the world’s largest prize for content creators. More than 16,000 submissions from nearly 190 countries are vying for the prestigious honor, which celebrates content that fosters unity, inspires change, and shapes future generations.

The event will highlight the UAE’s commitment to establishing itself as a global leader in the creative economy. The country has already launched initiatives such as the Creators HQ, offering services to encourage content creators to base their operations in the UAE. Alongside these efforts, the UAE Government Media Office has introduced a $41 million investment fund aimed at boosting the digital content sector.

In addition to the award, the Summit will feature 1 Billion Pitches, a competition offering $13.6 million in funding to startups with innovative ideas in digital content. The competition received 500 applications from 40 countries, with 25 finalists moving forward for the final round.

The 1 Billion Followers Summit promises to be the largest and most impactful gathering of digital creators and innovators globally, with the potential to shape the future of content and influence in the digital era.
