Dubai Introduces Ambitious Initiatives for Innovation, Resilience, and Sustainability

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has unveiled several transformative initiatives to propel Dubai’s global leadership in innovation, sustainability, and resilience.

Key programmes include the Dubai Research, Development, and Innovation Programme, which will receive AED750 million in funding to create 120,000 jobs and 600 startups by 2033, contributing AED20 billion annually to GDP.

Additionally, the Dubai Resilience Strategy focuses on economic, community, and infrastructure preparedness, while the Dubai Food Security Strategy prioritises sustainability, cutting food waste by 2% annually and boosting agricultural innovation by 15%.

Judicial efficiency will be enhanced through the Criminal Judgments Implementation System, modernising litigation processes with advanced technologies. These initiatives underscore Dubai’s commitment to excellence, shaping its future as a global hub for progress and sustainability.
